Cuddalore is not new to CK School of Practical Knowledge (CKSPK), earlier called as Baba Matriculation Higher Secondary School. Cuddalore synonymous to CKSPK with a rich tradition of Excellence in happy schooling.
We were founded in 1974 by Late. Mrs. & Mr. Chinnikrishnan and has completed 45 glorious years. Starting from humble beginnings with 7 children, now the schools has leaped to providing value education to 2900 Children studying in various classes from LKG – XII with a very nominal fee structure. The school has consistently delivered outstanding results over several years.
Starting from such humble beginnings, the School now boasts an impressive infrastructure including a play ground which acts as a stepping stone for future talents. The School has highly competent teachers, who have demonstrated in academics, enriching student’s life and are dynamic to change with the different challenges and opportunities given to them.
The school thinks beyond academics and believes in making the future of India bright, hence various activities like Win at Life, Business Module Classes (inculcating entrepreneurial skills), Life Oriented Skills (LOE) are taught in the same breath as academics. Equally sports are given prime importance, with Gold medals in National/State and District tournaments.
One uniqueness the school boasts about is inculcating the art of Sculpting, Sculpture dolls created by the students are given to the public at a nominal fee, the fee thus collected is used to improve the LOE activities. There is a yearly LOE exhibition conducted along with an innovation exhibition, which garners interest among the students and parents alike, the students work is put on a show for everyone to see and get inspired, thus our moto of LEAD-EXCEL-INSPIRE is followed in spirit.
The labs are state of art, especially ATAL lab was formed with focus on innovation to the Children. This create inquisitiveness among the students to be creative from an early age.
The school has also started niche’ courses in Robotics. The other salient features being, sculpture & cognitive skills program.
We also have National sports representative which bring laurels to India and us. We continue to make Cuddalore Proud.
